These Terms & Conditions govern access to the VFT Workshop website and purchases from VISITING FRIENDS TRADE INC. By using the site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy, Payment Policy, and Warranty Policy.

Eligibility and account responsibility

You must be legally capable of entering a binding contract and provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for protecting account credentials and for activity through your account. Notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized use.

Equipment information and suitability

We aim to present products accurately, but photography, production changes, and reasonable manufacturing tolerances may affect color, dimensions, weight, finish, included components, or appearance. Measurements and capacities should be independently confirmed for safety-critical use. Accessories, consumables, assembly, installation, certification, or services shown in images are not included unless listed in the product description.

The customer is responsible for confirming compatibility, intended duty cycle, voltage, plug type, compressed-air or fuel requirements, floor load, clearances, ventilation, local codes, operator training, required guards and protective equipment, and any installation or inspection requirements before use.

Orders and acceptance

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An automated acknowledgment confirms receipt, not final acceptance. Acceptance occurs when we confirm fulfillment or dispatch, subject to applicable law. Inventory may be held by independent fulfillment locations and can change without notice. We may limit quantities or cancel because of unavailable inventory, catalog or pricing error, payment failure, suspected fraud, sanctions or export restrictions, delivery limitations, or another lawful reason. Amounts collected for a cancelled item will be refunded.

Prices and payment

Prices are displayed in the store currency and may change before an order is submitted. Shipping, taxes, duties, brokerage, customs, and destination charges may be added. Payments are processed by the provider displayed at checkout, which may include PayPal. The Payment Policy forms part of these Terms.

Shipping, returns, and warranty

Delivery services, access requirements, international charges, inspection, and delay handling are described in the Shipping & Delivery Policy. Return eligibility, authorization, freight responsibility, deductions, damage reporting, and refund processing are described in the Returns & Refunds Policy. Warranty claims and exclusions are described in the Warranty Policy.

Safe use

Workshop and industrial equipment can cause serious injury or property damage if selected, installed, maintained, or operated incorrectly. Users must read the supplied instructions, follow warnings, use required personal protective equipment, keep guards and safety devices in place, and comply with applicable workplace and electrical rules. Installation or servicing should be performed by a qualified person where required.

Acceptable website use

You may not use the site to violate law or another person’s rights; submit false, deceptive, abusive, or malicious material; interfere with security or operation; introduce malware; attempt unauthorized access; scrape protected content at scale; evade purchase limits; or use the service for fraud.

Intellectual property

The site design, text, graphics, logos, arrangement, software, and original content are owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable law. Personal access does not transfer ownership. Product names, images, or specifications supplied by manufacturers or other rights holders remain subject to their respective rights.

Third-party services

The site may connect to payment processors, carriers, analytics providers, or other third-party services. We do not control their independent terms, availability, or privacy practices. Use of those services is governed by the provider’s terms.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site is provided on an “as available” basis and we disclaim warranties not expressly stated. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. To the fullest extent permitted by law, VISITING FRIENDS TRADE INC. and its service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential loss, or loss of profit, data, opportunity, or production. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited only to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer law requires another result. Please contact us before formal proceedings so the parties can attempt resolution. Proceedings may be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction, and customers retain mandatory forums available under applicable consumer law.

Severability and changes

If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum necessary and the remaining provisions continue. We may revise the site and these Terms prospectively. The version displayed when an order is submitted generally governs that order unless law requires otherwise.
